Workplace Wellness Programs: Addressing Tech Neck, Inactive Glutes, Spinal Discomfort & the Productivity Drain
Tech neck, stiff hips, an aching back. That familiar reminder when your brain and body is telling you it needs a break.
Sound familiar?
Whether you work remotely or spend your days in an office, the modern workday can place sustained demands on both the body and mind. Hours of sitting, repetitive movements, screen time, and the pressure to stay productive can leave employees feeling physically restricted, mentally drained, and disconnected from the people around them.
But what if supporting your team’s well-being didn’t require a complete overhaul of the workday?
Workplace wellness can start with simple, accessible opportunities to move, reset, connect, and recharge. From guided mobility sessions and assisted stretching to meditation, yoga, and team-building experiences, small interventions can help make well-being a more intentional part of the workplace.
For employers, the conversation extends beyond individual comfort. A thoughtful wellness program can be an opportunity to invest in employee experience, foster stronger connections, and create a workplace culture where people feel supported—not just expected to perform.
The goal isn’t to eliminate every ache or prevent every stressful day. It’s to give people practical tools, opportunities for recovery, and a culture that recognizes the relationship between well-being and the way we work.

Wellness That Extends Beyond the Event
At Stretchqueen, wellness is built around two foundational principles: customization and education.
Every workplace has its own rhythm, challenges, and culture. A team spending long hours at computers may benefit from guided mobility breaks, assisted stretching, and education around movement throughout the workday. Another team may be looking for a more restorative experience that incorporates massage, mindfulness, or opportunities to connect outside the usual demands of work.
That’s why I believe workplace wellness should be more than a one-time perk. It should give employees an opportunity to pause, reconnect with their bodies, and discover practical ways to support their well-being beyond the event itself.
As a bodyworker and mobility specialist, I bring together personalized assisted stretching, hands-on bodywork, mobility education, and nervous-system-focused relaxation techniques. Depending on your team’s needs, these experiences can be complemented by yoga, meditation, skin care, sound baths, or collaborative wellness activities with trusted practitioners.
Education is just as important as the experience. I want participants to leave with a better understanding of their movement, simple techniques they can incorporate into their routine, and tools they can return to throughout the workday. Even as little as 2 - 20 minutes of movement or mindfulness can be a useful starting point for building more supportive habits. I always say, 2 minutes a day keeps the doctor away!
For organizations in Los Angeles and beyond, Stretchqueen creates customized wellness experiences for offices, corporate events, and employee appreciation days. Whether you’re planning a single wellness event or exploring recurring programming, we can work together to develop an experience that reflects your team and your goals.
Your people are your organization. Make their well-being part of the way you work.
