About the Sessions
Every session is personalized to your body, your goals, and how you want to feel that day.
Sessions combine assisted stretching, movement coaching, and hands-on bodywork. You can choose a more restorative experience where you relax on the table, or a more active session that incorporates movement and mobility work. We can also focus on specific areas that need extra attention.
The Stretchqueen Signature Session includes full-body PNF-assisted stretching followed by focused head, neck, and traps work to help release built-up tension and leave you feeling restored.
As we work together, each session gives us more information about how your body moves and where you tend to hold tension or imbalances. This allows me to gradually refine our approach around your individual goals.
Not sure what you need? Start with a complimentary mobility assessment or we talk through what may be most appropriate for you.
About Desirée
I'm Desirée, founder of Stretchqueen | Mobile Wellness & Bodywork, a private practice serving the Southern California community.
As a bodyworker and mobility specialist, my work is centered around helping people feel more comfortable, capable, and connected in their bodies. Over the past six years, I’ve worked with a diverse range of clients—from athletes and performers to expecting clients, children, older adults, and individuals with varying physical abilities and demands.
What matters most to me is listening. Every person arrives with a different body, history, lifestyle, and relationship with movement. I take the time to understand what you’re experiencing, observe how you move, and create an environment where you can slow down, decompress, and feel supported. My approach brings together hands-on bodywork, assisted stretching, mobility, and movement awareness in a way that feels both intentional and personal. I believe people deserve to be listened to, understood, and given practical support in caring for their bodies.
My work is non-invasive and focused on movement, mobility, relaxation, and general well-being. I do not diagnose or treat medical conditions, and services remain within the scope of my bodywork and movement-based practice.

Consistency is recommended; most people see the most success with weekly sessions, however there are exceptions. Ask me for a consultation to understand what might be your best option.

FAQs
What do I need to do to prepare?
Depending on what you want to work on, you may or may not need to prepare much if at all. Generally, it is a good idea to take a brief walk so that your body is warmed up and/or to wear layers to ensure you stay at a warm temperature. I ask that you check in with your doctor beforehand, especially if you have had a recent injury or any surgeries before we have a session.
Can this be provided for those in difficult medical situations?
You can, in fact, it is highly recommended for people going through sciatica to stay in motion. Stretching, mobilizing and low impact movement, such as walking are great ways to alleviate symptoms and fight off stiffness. We will move slowly and stay in communication throughout the session in the event that sensations of pain are felt so as to not aggravate sciatica symptoms.
What do I need to bring to the session?
For our session, I will ask that you dress comfortably, have fresh socks and water at hand. For almost every session, I use a portable massage table for the majority of the time, allowing the client to relax and concentrate on their breath while we learn about their body. An ideal range of motion is measured and we target specific areas of interest. Music of your choice can be played at any time to promote rest and relaxation.
When will I see results if I have a session?
Every body is different and going through different challenges, therefore, I cannot guess when you might see results. You will, however, feel results right away after getting off my table. Some clients feel energy (perhaps stored from previous trauma) released the next day. Most clients who are consistent in seeing me and review the session notes provided in the document I share with them have higher success rates and longer lasting results.
Can I book a session if I have a sciatica flare up?
If you or someone you love is in hospice or needs palliative care, bodywork is a wonderful option as long as comfort and communication between doctors, caregivers, client and myself is the highest priority. If the client is non-verbal we can address their needs and communication methods as is appropriate to them and their caregiver. Bodywork is supportive in that it promotes relaxation, circulation, mobility and overall quality of life.
How long are the sessions?
If you are booking your first session with me, I prefer to see someone for at minimum an hour. After the initial session, I have a better idea about your body's needs and your goals. Thereafter, we can tailor future sessions as is best.
